Aerial Power Limited is setting the agenda on a new commercial application for unmanned aerial vehicles:
We are first to introduce a drone for the cleaning of solar panels. Depending on the region the drones are deployed in, we aim towards lowering the cost for maintenance of solar power by up to 70% whilst raising energy production by up to 30% in a month.

Leading Innovation

Our broad set of patents drives and secures the success of this innovation:
The flying and hovering drones have the ability to clean the whole solar farm, both autonomously and efficiently. In the development is the cleaning of other surfaces such as windows and buildings with UAV's, as well. Aerial Power is the global pioneer in the automated cleaning of solar power plants, introducing a new but real world application of UAV's under the brand "SolarBrush".

Further Applications

The drones can potentially be used to clean windows and other surfaces such as buildings, e.g. their rooftops.
Window cleaning with unmanned aerial vehicles in domestic sites is another development Aerial Power Limited pursues and holds patents for. Our cleaning head is mounted below the UAV and includes a brush that swipes sand and dust away from the object.
Unmanned aerial systems are therefore substituting today's robotic solutions in numerous cases.
